Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 Cup matki soaked for 5hours


  • 1 Cup grated coconut


  • 2tbsp oil


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1tbsp gingergarlic paste


  • 1 tbsp tamarind


  • 1/2 tbsp garam masala powder


  • 1 tbsp green chilli finely chopped


  • 7-8 Curry leaves


  • 1 tbsp musturd seeds


  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves for garnish


  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder


  • 1 tbsp coriander powder


  • 1 tbsp Sev for garnish.

Directions

  • In a pressure cooker add matki and water cook the matki on 1 whistle.
  • In a mixer grinder add greated coconut and tamarind and grind to a fine paste.
  • Keep this mixture aside.
  • In a non stick pan, heat some oil, add musturd seeds, Curry leaves and fry.
  • Add gingergarlic paste and saute, add red chilli powder, coriander powder, coconut mixture, garam masala powder salt and mix well.
  • Add Boiled matki and cook for 5 mins.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and sev
