Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1/2 cup yellow lentils


  • 1/2 cup mixed vegetables finely chopped beans, cabbage and carrots


  • 1 onion


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp oil


  • 1 tsp cumin powder


  • 1 tsp black pepper powder


  • 2 cups water


  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder


  • 8..9 coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  • Wash and soak dal for 10 minutes
  • Boil adding 1 glass water, salt and turmeric powder for 2 whistles in pressure cooker
  • In a pan heat oil
  • Add finely chopped onions and fry well
  • Add chopped vegetables and again saute for 2..3 minutes
  • Add 1 glass water and mashed dal
  • Add cumin powder and pepper powder
  • Let it boil for 4..5 minutes
  • Add lemon juice and garnish with coriander
