Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 10 bread slices


  • 1 cup Gram flour


  • 1/4 cup Rice flour


  • 1 boiled and peeled grated potato


  • 2 medium size carrot grated


  • 1 tsp carom seeds


  • 1/2 tsp baking soda


  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder


  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 medium size grated cucumber


  • 2 green chilli finely chopped


  • Salt to taste


  • Few Curry leaves finely chopped


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1/2 Onion finely chopped

Directions

  • Firstly take the mixing bowl add gram flour and Rice flour, cumin seeds, carom seeds and all masala spices mentioned above in the ingredients below.
  • Now add grated and chopped all veggies and salt , soda bi carbonate, finely chopped coriander leaves mix well with adding needed water.
  • Make a smooth and little thick batter consistency.
  • Now take the bread slices, cut into triangle shape. And apply butter on both sides and roast few seconds on tawa.
  • Next take roasted 1 bread pieces and dip in prepared besan mixture batter is well coated with bread.
  • Preheat the oil in deep pan, and fry the besan coated bread on medium flame. They turns crispy and changes in the colour.
  • Repeat this process to all bread slices. Serve with Green chutney or tomato ketchup.
