Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup toor dal


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 3 chillies chopped


  • 3 garlic chopped


  • 1 tsp mustard


  • 1 tsp cumin


  • 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp haldi

Directions

  • Pressure cook toor dal for 4 whistles
  • When its done stir it with stirrer
  • Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, cumin till it pops
  • Add garlic and onion
  • When onion shrinks add tomato . Put the flame high.
  • Add salt, haldi and coriander leaves.
  • Add this tadka on the dal and mix it well.
  • Boil this dal for a minute and serve with rice
