Wash and soak the dal and rajma overnight. In the morning again wash with water.
In a pressure cooker put soaked dal, 2 glass of water, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves and close the lid.
Take one whistle than keep it on simmer for 15 minutes than switch off flame.
Grind onion, tomato, ginger and green chilli into a fine paste.
Heat butter in a pan add cumin, ground paste to it.
Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder fry these masalas until oil starts separating.
Lightly mash boiled dal with laddle and add it to fried masala and cook it for 10 minutes.
Now add cream, garam masala powder and crushed kasuri methi mix well and another cook for 2- 3 min.
Finally add coriander leaves and switch off the gas. Serve hot with any paratha , nan or rice.
