  • Green chilli...4


  • Onion...1 big


  • Ginger garlic paste...1tbspn


  • Onion paste...4tbspn


  • Tomato paste...2tbspn


  • Green cardamom...2cloves...3


  • Cinnamon stick...1


  • Curry leaves...5 to 6


  • Turmeric powder...1tspn


  • Red chilli powder...1tspn


  • Cumin-coriander powder...1tspn


  • Oil...3cup


  • Garam masala...1/2tspn


  • Sugar...1/4cup


  • Salt...2tspn


  • Dry red chilli...2


  • Potato...3

Directions

  • Soak the dal for 15 minutes with enough water.Then drain the water & make a paste of it.
  • Add salt, chopped green chilli & onion with dal .
  • Heat enough oil in a kadhai & make small pakodas from dal mixture.
  • Now heat 2tspn oil in a kadhai .Add curry leaves, dry red chilli , cloves, cinnamon stick & cardamon.Fry for few minutes.
  • Then add chopped onion, tomato & ginger garlic paste.Cook for few minutes.
  • Add salt & all spices.
  • Now add boiled & slightly fried potato cubes in the mixture & cook for few minutes.Add 2 glass of water now, cover it & let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Finally add dal pakodas, garam masala & boil it few more minutes.
  • Serve it with roti or parantha.
