Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup chana dal soaked for 1 hour


  • 500 grams lauki cut into pieces


  • 1tbsp salt


  • 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder


  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder


  • 2tbsp coriander powder


  • 2green chilli finely chopped


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1 large pinch hing


  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds


  • 2 tbsp lime juice


  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves

Directions

  • Heat a non stick pan add dal,salt, Turmeric powder, lauki, Red chilli powder, coriander powder, green chilli, mix Well and add 2cups of water ,cover and cook till done.
  • Heat ghee in a non stick pan add ghee,cumin seeds and when seeds changed colour add hing.
  • Add this tempering hto cook dal and lauki mixture.
  • Mix well and add sugar and coriander leaves.
  • Cover and cook for 2mins add lime juice mix well and serve hot.
