Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup rice


  • 1/2 cup toor dal


  • 1 tsp mustard


  • 1 inch cinnamon


  • 2 tsp ghee


  • 2 garlic grated


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp haldi


  • 1 tsp salt

Directions

  • Wash rice and dal properly
  • Heat ghee in cooker
  • Add mustard and garlic
  • Add tomato and wait till its mashed
  • Add salt, haldi, red chilli powder
  • When tomato turn mushy add rice and dal
  • Add 2 cup water and pressure cook for 3 whistles
  • Serve hot with buttermilk
