Ingredients

Serves : 12
  • 2 cup gram flour


  • 1 cup khoya


  • 1 cup ghee


  • 2 cup chini


  • 1/4 cup ful cream milk


  • 10 almonds


  • 10 cashews


  • 10 Pistachios


  • 10-12 saffron


  • 2 green cardamom


  • 2 silver foil

Directions

  • In a bowl add gram flour and 2 spoin ghee. Mix well.
  • Now add small portion of milk and make a soft dough. Keep ot aside for 20 minutes.
  • Now we will prepare sugar syrup. Add 2 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water. Disolve sugar in water and cook for more 5minutes. Meanwhile chop DryFruits.
  • In 2 spoon hot water soak saffron threads.
  • Heat ghee in a pan. Now add gramflour dough and mix well.
  • Roast it on medium flame untill it starts ro release the ghee. It will take 7-8 minutes.
  • Now add khoya and mix well.
  • Again roast it for 4-5 minutes.
  • Now add sugar syrup, saffron and dry fruits. Cook it untill it turns thicken. Turn off the gas.
  • Now grease a plate and spred it. Garnish with dryfruits and silver foil.
  • Rest it for 2 hours.
  • Cut into square pieces.
  • Mohanthaal is ready to serve.
  • Store it in airtight container in fridge.
