Ingredients

Serves : 10
  • Split & skinned black gram / Urad Dal 1cup


  • Rice 1tsp


  • Ghee 1/2cup


  • Sugar powder 1/2cup to 3/4th cup

Directions

  • Dry roast urad dal in a thick heavy pan until its turns light brown.Dont overcook and roast it.Add rice,fry for 30seconds.
  • Fry them in lower flame till dal turns crunchy.keep stirring to avoid dal from burning
  • Let it to cool completely.
  • Grind the dal and rice together to fine powder.Better to grind in nearby flour mill for perfect smooth powder
  • Now add powdered sugar and mix it.check sweetness and adjust as per your taste tips - (this can be stored in refrigerator for about 3months and be used whenever required)
  • Heat ghee and pour over the powder and mix well with a spoon.Dont pour ghee at once.keep adding little by little and mix it. tips (pour heated ghee don't burn ghee)
  • When its little warm you can shape them into round laddus as per your required size
  • Store in airtight container for a month.
  • Ready to serve
