Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • Puffed Rice...1bowl (150gm)


  • Milk powder...20gm


  • All purpose flour...2tbspn


  • Baking powder...1/4tspn


  • Sugar...1cup


  • Water...2cup


  • Green cardamom...2


  • Cold milk...1cup


  • Oil...1cup


  • Ghee...1cup

Directions

  • At first take puffed rice in a mixing jar & make a powder of it.
  • Then strain it with the help of a strainer to avoid lumps.
  • Add milk powder , flour , baking powder & cold milk .
  • Make a dough of it.Dough should be little sticky.
  • After few minutes, apply oil on your palm & knead the dough well.
  • Make small balls from dough.
  • Heat ghee & oil in a pan & deep fry the jamuns in low flame till it turns golden brown.Take out jamuns from oil then & keep it in tissue paper for few minutes.
  • Boil sugar syrup in another pan with 1 : 2 cup sugar & water.
  • Add gulab jamuns in hot sugar syrup & keep it in syrup for at least 20 minutes.
  • Make it cool completely & serve chilled.
