  • 1 cup mix dals( moongdal, masoor dal,chana dal, urad dal,green split dal)

  • 2-3 green chillies

  • 3 tsp finely chopped coriander

  • 3 tsp rice flour

  • 1/2 inch ginger

  • 1 carrot grated

  • 1 tomato chopped finely

  • 1onion chopped finely

  • 1tbsp semolina

  • 1tbsp oats

  • 11/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/4 tsp soda

  • 1/2 tsp garam masala

  • 1/2 tsp jeera powder


  • Wash and soak dal for atleast 2 hrs.
  • Then starin it and grind it along with ginger and green chillies to a smooth paste by adding very little water.
  • Remove it in a bowl, add oats, semolina, rice flour, and mix well.
  • Then add salt and all masalas and coriander and veggies.
  • At last add soda and mix everything well.
  • Keep a kadai on gas. Put some oil for frying. As the oil gets hot reduce the flame to medium. Take a spoon and pour some batter at a time. Deep fry till u get a nice golden colour.
  • Serve hot with chutney of ur choice.
