Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1cup moong dal.


  • 1cup milk.


  • 1/2cup sugar.


  • 1/2cup ghee.


  • 1/4cup khoya.


  • 2table spoon chopped dry fruits of your choice.

Directions

  • wash and soak moong dal for 10minutes.
  • Boil with milk and cook on low flame till tender.Mash.
  • Heat ghee in a pan,add mashed dal.Cook on low flame for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar and further cook for 10minutes on low-medium flame.Stir continuosly to avoid sticking of dal.
  • Add khoya,mix well.Add dry fruits and stir on low flame till ghee leaves the edges of pan.
  • Add kewra.
  • Grease a thali,transfer dal into it .Spread to form a 1"thick sheet.
  • Keep in fridge for 20 minutes and cut into barfi of your desired shape.
