Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 cup freahly cut coconut


  • 2tbsp roasted chana dal


  • 1tbsp tempering


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 2 to 3 dried red chilly


  • 3 green chilly


  • 1 tbsp oil


  • 1 stem curry leaves


  • 1 cup water


  • 1 small tamarind

Directions

  • In a mixer jar add freshly cut coconut and grind well
  • Now add chana daal and grind well such that everything becomes a fine powder
  • Now add salt, tamarind, green chillies and grind well while adding water gradually
  • Adjust consiatency of chutney it should be neither thick nor flowing
  • Serve with any south indian tiffin
