  • 2 tbsp besan

  • 1 cup or to taste curd

  • 2 tbsp sprouts of whole green moong

  • 2 tbsp sprouts of black gram

  • 1 tsp chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 tsp chopped ginger

  • 2 pieces dry whole red chilly

  • 1 tsp or to taste salt

  • 1 /2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

  • 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds

  • 1/8 tsp asafoetodia

  • 1 tsp red chilly ghee (for garnishing)

  • 1 tbsp desi ghee

  • 2 cup( or required quantity) water


  • Take a bowl add besan and adding 2 tbsp water gradually . Mix well make a creamy paste. Sieve the curd and add water as per required. Mix well , now added turmeric powder. Now curry mixture is ready to make sprouts curry
  • Heat ghee on high flame in a wok. On medium flame add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, asafoetodia & dry red chilly powder saute for 10 seconds. When it cracked mix ginger, saute for few seconds. Now mix curry mixture in it on low flame. Stir continuously till becomes a boil.
  • 1 tsp both sprouts keep aside for garnishing.
  • Now add salt and both sprouts. Mix well and cook for 10 minutes on low flame till becomes little thick. Stirring it regularly after few intervals . Turn off the gas.
  • Now pour SPROUTS CURRY into serving bowl. Garnish with red chilly ghee, coriander leaves & sprouts.
  • Serve hot-hot SPROUTS CURRY with Chapati and Rice. Enjoy !!
