  • 2 cup boiled whole Green Gram's

  • 1 large size finely chopped onion

  • 1 medium size Chopped Tomato

  • 1 tsp Mustard seeds

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder

  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida(hing)

  • 2 tbsp ghee or oil

  • Few Curry leaves

  • 2 tbsp Finley chopped coriander leaves

  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder (adjust your spiciness)

  • salt to taste

  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste


  • In the pan heat the ghee. add mustard and cumin seeds allow to splutter them.
  • After add few Curry leaves, hing and Ginger garlic paste saute for few seconds, then add Chopped onions saute till they turns translucent.
  • Next add chopped tomato stir until they becomes soft and mushy.
  • Additionally add all spices and salt Mix well.
  • Further more add boiled Green gram's into the pan. and sprinkle some little of water then Mix well with all ingredients.
  • Lastly add chopped coriander leaves. now close the lid and simmer for 2-3 mins on low flame.
  • Finally whole Green Gram's Curry is ready to serve with rice , roti, chapati etc as you wish.
