In a pressure cooker add dal spinach and water. Add salt and turmeric powder.
Cook for 3 whistles
Let the pressure release.
In a pan heat oil
Add jeera and hing
Add bay leaf
Add onion ginger and garlic. Cook till onions are done
Add tomatoes and cook till mushy
Add red chilli powder and mix well
Add the dal spinach
Add ghee and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes
Serve with chapatis or rice
