  • One cup of pigeon peas or tuvar dal ,3 teaspoons of oil,pinch of hing , slight turmeric powder,half teaspoon of mustard seeds and Cummin seeds and 6 garlic pod's and 8 curry leaves, fresh coriander, Salt,two dry red chili and slight red chili powder

    Take a pan and add oil once it's heated then add Mustard Seed once it crackle then add garlic which is crushed then wait for it to change colour then add curry leaves and pinch of hing and slight turmeric powder after that add pre cooked pigeon peas or tuvar dal mix everything add water add salt as per taste wait for boil .For tadka take tadka pan add oil then add dry red chili and Cummin seeds let remove pan from burner then add red chili powder and add tadka to pan containing dal garnish with fresh coriander to be served hot
