Ingredients

  • Ivy gourd 250gms chopped

  • Moong dal 75gms

  • Onion 1big

  • Oil 1 big tbsp to fry

  • Curry leaves 5 to 8 leaves

  • Ginger and garlic paste 1/2 tsp

  • Salt 1 tsp

  • Chilli powder 1tsp

  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp

  • Coriander leaves 1tsp.

    First keep the cooker on the oven. Pour the oil ,once oil is hot add onion curry leaves, coriander leaves. Mix n fry well.then once its slightly brown. Then add ginger garlic paste.,salt ,turmeric and chilli powder. Fry well till the raw smell is gone then add moong dal fry well..then add ivy gourd .mix well .pour very little water half glass .and cover it with lid .and wait until 2 whistles n take it out ...the taste healthy dish is ready to serve. Can eat with rice and roti. And also puri.
