Take urad dal in a mixer and make fine powder
Transfer this into a bowl and add water gradually and.adjust consistency
Batter should be thick but not running
Now add salt, baking soda and mix well
Allow it to rest for 1hour
After hour heat oil in a kadai and on a plastic sheet make flatten batter in round shape
Now make a hole at the center this is because vada cooks well from inside
Fry till golden brown and serve hot
