Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 cup chana dal soaked 6 hours and drained.


  • 2tbsp finely chopped onion.


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tbsp green chilli paste


  • 1tbsp Red chili powder


  • 1 tbsp gingergarlic paste


  • 1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds


  • 1 tbsp fresh coriander leaves for garnish


  • 1 bowl oil for frying

Directions

  • Blend chana dal into a coarse paste and transfer into a bowl.
  • Add onion, saunf, red chili powder, gingergarlic paste, green chilli paste,salt , coriander seeds, coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Devide the mixture into equal portions and shape into Vadas.
  • Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.
  • Fry Vadas till golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot with green coconut chutney.
