Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1 bowls moong mogar or cleaned split moong dal boiled


  • 2 nos green chillies finely chopped


  • 3-4 nos cloves as per taste


  • 1 nos red dried chillies


  • 1 tbsp jeera


  • 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds


  • 1/5 tsp hing


  • 2 nos finely chopped tomatoes or u can use one bowl tomato purée


  • 1 tsp red chilli


  • 1 tsp turmeric


  • 1 tsp coriander powder


  • 1 tsp salt as per taste


  • 4-5 nos coriander leaves for garnishing


  • 5-6 nos curry leaves

Directions

  • Take one pan for tadka , two table spoon ghee or oil as per taste I prefer taking one spoon ghee and one spoon oil
  • Let it heat and then fry zeera , mustard seeds , red chilli , hing , add cloves , curry pata , half the tadka I keep aside in bowl and then mix tomatoes and fry till tomatoes are mashed and leaves oil/ ghee .
  • Once it leaves Oil / ghee add boiled dal and let it heat for five min . Then off the gas and add the tadka kept aside on top for garnishing with coriander leaves
  • Serve hot with chapati , rotis ,naan , jeera rice
