Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup rice


  • 1/3 cup moong daal


  • 1/3 cup chana daal


  • 1/3 cup masoor daal


  • 1 bay leaf


  • 6 curry leaves


  • 1 cup mix vegetables (carrots, peas, beans)


  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon powder


  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp lemon juice


  • 1 tsp olive oil


  • 1 tsp ghee


  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tsp or as per taste salt


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

Directions

  • Soak daal and rice separate in water for 15 minutes.
  • In a vessel, add oil, ghee, mustard seeds, cumin seeds. After seeds cracled, add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves,bay leaf and saute it.
  • Now add required quantity of water. Add salt and let the water to boil.
  • Add all 3 pulses and let it simmer.
  • After it is half cooked, add rice and vegetables to it.
  • Add cinnamon powder, garam masala and reld chilli powder to it and let it get cooked properly.
  • After water is absorbed, and rice and pulses get cooked properly, remove it from flame.
  • Healthy mix daal pulaav is ready.
