Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1cup moond dal soaked for 4hours and drained.


  • 1tbsp salt


  • 1 bowl oil for frying


  • 1 tbsp crushed coriander seeds


  • 1 tbsp saunf


  • 7-8 green chilies


  • 1 pinch baking soda


  • 1 finely chopped onion


  • 1tbsp fresh coriander leaves


  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger

Directions

  • Take a mixer jar add soaked moong dal, green chillies, salt, crushed coriander seeds , saunf and grind it.
  • Transfer it into a bowl.
  • Add chopped onion, baking soda and coriander leaves and mix well.
  • Heat oil to Deep fry
  • Drop small portion of battar into hot oil and Deep fry till golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot with ketchup.
