Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour


  • 1 cup jaggery


  • 3/4th cup water


  • 1 cup oil

Directions

  • In a pan add jaggery and water and make syrup
  • You need not boil the syrup just make sure jaggery melts completely
  • Add ilachi powder and mix with rice flour
  • Mix thoroughly and make small balls out of it
  • Now apply oil or ghee on a plastic sheet and spread this roll
  • Don't press very thin but it must be slightly thick
  • Now in a vok add oil or ghee for deep fry and allow to heat
  • Slowly drop the spreaded batter and deep fry till golden brown
  • Serve hot and this can be stored upto 1 week
  • This is mostly served as offering to lord hanuman
