Wash chana lentils and soaked in 2 glass of water for 2 hours. Keep aside
Then take a pressure cooker put in chana lentils and bottle gourd.
Add ginger,green chilly, salt, turmeric powder, gram masala and 2 cup of water. Mix well. Close the lid and cook on high flame until one whistle. Turn the flame on medium heat. get three whistles more. turn off the heat. Now open the lid after 5 minutes. sauteed and keep aside
Add 1 tbsp desi ghee in a wok and heat on medium flame. Combine all ingredients bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, cumin seeds, whole black pepper & asafoetodia. Saute and then it cracked add red chilly powder, tomato and sugar. Mix well. Keep aside.
On low flame stir continously and cook it until turns in mushy.
Add cooked chana dal . Saute and cook for a minute. Turn off the heat. Pour chana dal into serving bowl. Now mix butter .
Take a tadka pan , heat on low flame, put into 1 tsp desi ghee add 1/4 tsp red chilly powder. Stir continuously for 10 seconds. Turn off the heat. Now red chilly ghee is ready for garnishing.
" Chana Lentils and Bottle Gourd " is ready to serve. On serving time mix lemon juice, coriander leaves and garnish with red chilly ghee.
