Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 cups maida


  • 1 cup oil


  • 4 cup jaggery or 3cups jaggery and 1 cup sugar


  • 1 cup peanut


  • 1 cup dry coconut


  • 1 cup sesame seeds


  • 1 cup roasted chana daal


  • 1 tbsp bombay ravva


  • 1 teaspoon sugar for maida dough

Directions

  • In a pan dry roast chana dal, peanut, dry coconut separately don't add chana dal
  • Transfer them into a mixer jar along with chana dal and make fine powder
  • Now chop jaggery very finely and mix with powder
  • Meanwhile in other bowl add maida, bombay ravva, teaspoon sugar and one spatula of heated oil and mix well
  • Now gradually add water and make a tight dough
  • Now using rolling pin roll a chapati qnd place the above mixture and fold to half
  • Arrange all of them now heat oil in a pan and gradually drop prepared kajjikaayalu and fry till golden brown
  • While preparing these you can use moulds or make diff shapes to serve
  • You can even add dry fruits and make 😉
