1)-Take 1/2 cup rice and 1/2 cup moong dal in a bowl.Soak it in enough water for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, drain the water and set aside.
2)-Add the rice and dal to a pressure cooker and add around 3.5 to 4 cups water.
3) -Add salt, turmeric powder, peas and asafoetida and pressure cook on high heat for 2-3 whistles.
4)-The rice and dal will cook and be very soft and mushy, set aside.
Fr Chouka To another pan on meidum heat, add ghee .Add cumin seeds , mustard seeds, chopped ginger, green chilli, finely chopped, tomato chopped n mix it. Then put this chouka on above of the Moong dal khichdi.
Before serving Make a Papadman with dahi,Potato barta,salad,chutney and papad from khichdi so it looks soo yummy,healthy n delicious.Your kids also like it πππVery tasty and yummy Enjoyy
