Soak moong daal and rice in enough water for about 20 minutes.
Transfer it to a pressure cooker, add salt, water and cook it until 4 whistles.
After 4 whistles are done, open the lead and mix ghee to it.
Shallow fry cashew nuts and raisins into 1 tsp ghee till golden brown. Now add mixture of daal and rice to it.
In another vessel, mix jaggery to half a cup of Luke warm water and mix it till jaggery dissolve in it.
Add this jaggery water to daal-rice and mix properly
Cook it for a minute and a, sweet pongal is ready to serve.
