Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 3 cup green moong daal


  • 6-8 cloves garlic


  • 1 inch ginger piece


  • 3 green chillies


  • 3 tsp salt


  • 3 cup oil for frying


  • 1 tsp cumin seeds


  • 1 tsp pepper


  • 1 onion

Directions

  • Soak moong daal in water for at least 6 hours.
  • Drain the water completely and transfer it to mixer jar
  • Add ginger, green chillies, garlic, pepper, cumin seeds to it. Grind it to a coarse paste.
  • Mix salt to this batter and fry vadas into hot oil. Keep the flame on medium to slow heat while frying these vadas so it will be crispier from outside and gets cooked properly from inside.
  • Serve it with raw onion
