Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 2 cups gram flour


  • 1 tbsp salt


  • 1 tbsp red chilly powder


  • 1 pinch baking soda


  • 1 teaspoon vaamu


  • 10 mirchi slit in middle and deseded


  • 3 big size aloo


  • 2 raw banana


  • 1 lemon size Tamaring pulp


  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder

Directions

  • Slice aloo and raw banana
  • In a bowl add tamarind pulp, salt, gram flour and make paste
  • Take slit mirchi and stuff the above mixture and set aside
  • In other bowl add gram flour, salt, red chilly powder, vaamu, baking soda, turmeric powder and mix well with water
  • Adjust consistency such that the batter is slightly thick but not running or flowing
  • Now dip aloo, raw banana and mirchi in batter and fry them till golden brown
  • Serve hot with onions and lemon
