Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • stuffing ingredients : Roasted chana powder(Sattu ) 2 tablespoon


  • Finely chopped onions 1.5 cup


  • Salt and chilly according to taste


  • Carrom seeds 1 teaspoon


  • Kasuri methi 1 teaspoon


  • Parantha Masala 1 teaspoon


  • Whole wheat flour dough according to need


  • Ghee for greasing


  • Ingredients for masala curd:


  • Curd 2 cups


  • Roasted cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon


  • Salt and redchilly according to taste


  • Sugar 1 pinch

Directions

  • First add all stuffing ingredients with spices in a bowl and mix nicely, So that sattu can coat well on onions. stuffing mixture is ready.
  • Now heat tawa and grease wirh ghee.
  • Take a small ball of dough and stuff with ready mixture.
  • Now seal all edges and flatten stuffed ball in both palms.
  • Now roll it like a parantha and cook on tawa.
  • When brown spots appear on one side then flip parantha and apply ghee.
  • Now apply ghee , press sides and keep cooking parantha on low flame till it becomes crisp and golden. Parantha is ready now.
  • Cook all paranthas like it.
  • For masala curd ,beat curd and add all mentioned ingredients. Masala curd is ready.
  • Serve hot onion-sattu parantha with masala curd and dollop of homemade butter
  • This is such a nutritious, filling and high fiber parantha. Which gives energy for whloe day.
