Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 8 whole wheat bread


  • 1 tbsp Butter for brushing


  • 1/2 cup cheese, grated


  • 1/2 cup spring onion white, finely chopped


  • 1/2 cup spring onion green, finely chopped


  • 1/2 cup cabbage, chopped


  • 1/2 cup carrot, grated


  • 2 tsp green chillies, finely chopped


  • 1 tbsp butter


  • 2 tsp chilli sauce


  • 1 tbsp ketchup


  • 1 tsp Salt or to taste

Directions

  • Heat butter in non-stick pan, add spring onion white, green chilli and sauté on medium flame for 1-2 min.
  • Add cabbage, carrot, spring onion green, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
  • Do not overcook, else the crunch of veggies will be lost.
  • Add chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and salt, mix well and cook for 1 min.
  • Add the cheese and switch off the flame.
  • Let it cool and divide filling into 4 equal portions.
  • Now take 2 bread slice, put filling inside, and keep the breads in gas stove sandwich maker.
  • Serve with ketchup.
