Ingredients

Serves 4

  • 1 cup semolina/ sooji

  • 1 cup curd

  • 2 green chilli, finely chopped

  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • 3 tbsp tomatoes, finely chopped

  • 3 tbsp onion, finely chopped

  • 3 tbsp coloured bell pepper, finely chopped

  • 2 tsp coriander, finely chopped

  • 8 brown bread slice

  • 1 tsp salt or to taste

  • 1 tbsp Ghee for roasting

    Add sooji and curd into bowl and mix well.

    Once these have incorporated well, add all the veggies, salt and again mix to form the batter. Keep batter aside for 5 mins.

    Now take bread slice and spread 1 or 2 tsp batter over the slice evenly.

    Heat a pan and slight grease it with ghee.

  • 05

    Once heated, turn flame to low-medium and place the bread slice over it. Make sure you roast the paste side first.

    Keep checking in between and flip once it turns golden brown. Now toast it from other side too.

    Do this for the rest of the batter. Enjoy this with ketchup and hot cup of tea.
