Ingredients
Serves 3
1 cup wheat flour/maida
1/4 cup rice flour
1 medium onion chopped
2 tbsp chopped Curry leaves
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 tsp salt
3 to 4 tbsp water if needed
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1-2 grern chilli chopped
1/4 cup grated coconut
1/4 tsp ginger grated
2 tbsp coriander leaves
Directions
Add flour, rice flour, salt, soda,jeeta to a mixing bowl.
Add chopped onion, gredn chilli, coriander leaves, curry leaves, ginger and coconut.
Pour curd and 2 tbsp water mix well to make a thick batter of dropping consistency.
Heat paniyaram pan add a few drops of oil.
Pour spoonful of the batter 3/4 of the paniyram mould.
Allow the batter to cook for 2-3 minutes on a low or medium flame.
Turn paniyarm with the help of wooden skewer or spoon.
Now allow the other side to get cooked and crisp.
Turn once or twice for uniform cooking.
Serve with chutney or sambar, curd.
