For sambhar
Put dal , lauki and carrots in a pressure cooker along with salt.cook till 4 whistle yhan simmer for another 10 minutes.release pressure and blend a little.
Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds allow ot to crackle.add whole red chilli , onion and cook till golden add chopped tomato and cook till soft and mashy.addall the seasoning and spices.add tamarind paste and switch of the gas.add this tadka in cooked sambhar.allow to boil for 10 minutes on low flame.
add water if needed.
For vada-mix curd ,rava,salt, cumin seeds, chopped green chilli,and coriander leaves.
Add water and baking soda .make a thick paste.heat oil in a kadahi.make a ball of rava paste .make holr in center and allow it to fry on medium flame till golden in colour.
Ready to serve
