Ingredients
Serves : 2
1/2 cup grated beetroot
1 cup poha
1/2 cup onions
1 lemon
1/2 teaspoon or as per taste salt
1 Green chilli for flavour
1/2 teaspoon Chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon Amchur
1/3 teaspoon Dhaniya powder
1 teaspoon Kasuri methi roasted
1/2 teaspoon Mustard
1/2 teaspoon Jeera
1/2 teaspoon Saunf
1/2 inch ginger
1 handful curry leaves
for sweet and sour curds: 1/2 teaspoon sugar
2 pinch salt
2 drop lemon juice
Directions
Take a kadai and add oil to it. Once heated add mustard seeds jeera and saunf green chilli,curry leaves too it let it splutter. Then add the onions and ginger let it cook well.
Now add the beetroot with salt and cook, once half done add chilli powder amchur and Dhaniya powder and cook well. Once cooked add the poha with little salt for poha more and mix well. Let it cool add lemon and garnish with Kasuri methi. Serve with sweet and sour curds .
method to make sweet and sour curds: Add sugar salt and lime juice to the curds and give it a good mix and serve.
