  • 1/2 cup horse gram

  • 1/2 cup chopped onions

  • 1/2 teaspoon dhaniya powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice

  • 1/2 teaspoon or as per taste salt

  • 2 teaspoon oil for tadka

  • 1/2 handful curry leaves

  • 2 teaspoon coriander for garnish

  • 1/2 teaspoon jeera and saunf

  • 1/2 cup curds

  • 1/2 cup onions

  • 1 teaspoon coriander leaves


  • first soak the horse gram for 8 hours then put it on a microwave plate and sprout for 1 day or can put in hot pack and sprout for a day.
  • Take oil in Kadai add jeera and saunf and sauté well. now add onions ginger garlic paste curry leaves hing and sauté well.
  • Add the sprouts and cook till soft.
  • Then in a bowl mix all masala with salt and add to sprouts .
  • Now the stage of poha come , just rinse and add the poha to sprouts with a pinch of salt and lime juice and mix well and serve with onion raita .
  • Take curds add finely chopped onion and then add tadka of mustard and hing. Garnish with coriander and serve.
