Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup Sabudana


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 2 medium size potatoes


  • 1 medium onion chopped


  • 2-3 chopped green chillies


  • 8-9 curry leaves


  • 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric


  • 3/4 tsp salt


  • 1/2 tsp jeera


  • 2 tbsp Oil


  • 1/2 cup groundnuts


  • 1 tsp Sugar

Directions

  • 1. Wash and soak the Sabudana for 4-5 hours.
  • 2. Roast the groundnuts and crush them slightly.
  • In a pan add oil, add jeera and onions
  • 4. Saute for 2 minutes and add green chillies, curry leaves and now add the tomatoes.
  • 5. Once the tomatoes are soft add chopped boiled potatoes, salt and turmeric powder.
  • 6. Mix well. Now add the soaked Sabudana , crushed peanuts and coriander leaves. Also add the lemon juice and together give a nice mix.
  • 7. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  • 8. Serve hot.
  • 9. For a twist I have added a tsp of sugar before switching off the flame.
