firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 2 cups boiled and grated potato
further add ¼ cup bread crumbs, 2 tbsp corn flour, ½ tsp chilli powder and salt to taste.
combine all the ingredients well. add more bread crumbs if required
cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes, this prevents smiley from breaking in oil.
now take a large ball sized prepared potato dough and flatten slightly thick over butter paper.
cut round using a cookie cutter or a glass.
also using a straw make eyes and use spoon to make a smile.
deep fry the potato smiles in hot oil.
stir occasionally and fry till golden brown, keeping the flame on medium.
