Total Time : 30 Min

Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 small piece Lauki, grated

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 Cup carrot, grated

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp green chilli paste

  • 1 tsp ginger paste

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 cup Jowar flour

  • 4 tbsp curd

  • 1/2 tsp oil

Directions

  • Take a bowl, add lauki, onion, carrot, salt, green chilli paste, ginger paste, turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Now add flour and mix.
  • Add curd to this mixture and form a dough by kneading the flour. Do not use water as water from lauki is sufficient to bind the flour.
  • Now add oil to the dough and knead again.
  • Heat non stick pan and meanwhile make small balls out of the dough.
  • Shape each ball into flat thalipeeth using hands.
  • Place it on heated pan and cook it on low flame for a min.
  • Now flip, turn the flame to medium and cook from the other side by pressing from the back of the spatula for 2-3 mins. Turn the flame to lowest.
  • Cook from both the sides until golden.
  • Serve hot with green chutney, ketchup, chai or curd.
