Ingredients

  • 1 cup roasted semolina


  • 1 cup curd


  • 1 tsp baking soda


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds


  • 1 pinch turmeric powder

Directions

  • In a bowl add semolina, curd, saltand mix well.
  • If batter is too thick then add some water. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes heat a steamer.
  • Now grease a tin.
  • Add baking soda in batter and mix well.
  • Transfer it into tin and cook for 20 minutes.
  • After 20 minutes cut in to pieces.
  • Heat oil in a pan, and cracker mustard seeds and turmeric.
  • Saute the idli pieces in spices.
  • Serve hot with Coconut Chutney.
