Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup chana soaked overnight


  • 1 onion chopped


  • 1 tomato chopped


  • 1 tsp red chilli powder


  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder


  • 1 tsp salt


  • 1 tsp mustard powder


  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste


  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions

  • Heat oil in pressure cooker.
  • add mustard seeds .
  • add chopped onion and wait till it turns translucent
  • add tomato and salt.
  • when tomato turns mushy add rest of the spices and the chana.
  • add 1 cup water in the chana and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  • garnish with chopped onion, tomato and a lemon wedge.
