Turmeric Latte Oats

  • 1/2 cup oats, rolled

  • 1.5 cup milk, full fat

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

  • 1/4 tsp ghee

  • 1/2 apple, chopped

  • 1 tbsp cranberries

  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds

  • 1 pinch black sesame seeds

  • 1 tbsp jagery (optional)


  • Heat milk in pan. Once it's boiled, add turmeric powder, black pepper powder and ghee. Stir well.
  • Now let this boil until 1.5 cup milk reduces to 1 cup milk. Let it cool.
  • You can add jaggery at this point if you require a little more sweetness in your oats.
  • Now add oats to the same pan in which you have prepared turmeric latte.
  • Cook the oats on high flame until the milk boils again, and then simmer it for 2-3 mins. Turn off the flame.
  • Garnish it with apples, cranberries, pumpkin seeds & sesame seeds. Serve.
