Soak the kasuri methi in warm water for 5 mins and then strain it.
In a mixing bowl, add the wheat flour, besan, salt, chilli powder, haldi and kasuri methi. Knead into a smooth pliable dough by adding enough water .
Keep covered and let it rest for 10mins
Pinch out lemon sized balls from the dough , dust it well with wheat flour.
Roll into thin rotis .
Heat a tava and cook the theplas on both sides with enough oil .
Serve hot with green chutney , curds or pickle of your choice.
