Wash the rice and udad dhall separately multiple times till the water appears clean and clear.
Wash the poha and remove any dust from it
Now soak all the three ingredients in a wide bowl in enough water along with methi seeds for 3 hrs
In a blender or wet grinder grind the batter. The batter has to be like idli batter . Donot add too much water while grinding.
Transfer to a large vessel, add salt and beat the batter with your hands to induce aeration and then allow it to ferment. This may take 7-9 hrs depending on the weather conditions.
Just before making the dosas , grind the tomatoes,green chilies and curry leaves to a fine paste and add it to the fermented batter along with finely chopped coriander. Mix the batter well.
Heat a tava , take a ladle full of batter and spread it on the tava like normal dosa and cook evenly on both sides.
Serve it hot with chutney and/or sambar.
