Ingredients

Serves : 3
  • 200 gms dried Rice vermicelli


  • 50 gm bean sprouts


  • 5 shallots


  • 12 Red chillies


  • 1 small lemon sized tamarind


  • 3 cloves garllic


  • 1/4 cup fried shallots


  • 2 stalk chinese chives


  • 100 gms chopped tofu


  • 2 tbsp oil


  • 1 lime


  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • 1 chicken Luncheon Meat

Directions

  • Grind red chillies, shallots, garlic to fine paste.
  • In a heated pan, add oil, then the ground paste. Fry the paste on low heat till it cooks approximately 2 minutes.
  • Mean while soak the tamarind and extract the bulb by bringing to 2 cups.
  • When the paste gets cooked, add the tamarind extract, sugar and salt.
  • Bring to boil, add vercimelli and close with a lid
  • Stir in between. After 4 minutes add tofu, bean sprouts and chives, stir and Cook for couple of minutes and remove from heat.
  • Garnish with fried shallots.
  • Tava roast Luncheon meat
  • Serve with sliced lime and Luncheon meat.
