Ingredients

Serves : 2
  • 1 cup sago


  • 2 spoon ghee


  • 2 green chilli slit


  • 1 boiled and chopped potato


  • 1/2 spoon cumin


  • 1/2 cup roasted and crushed peanuts


  • 1 spoon sugar


  • 1/2 spoon salt or as per taste


  • 2 spoon chopped coriander leaves


  • 1/2 lemon juice

Directions

  • Wash and soak the sago in enough water for 4 hrs .
  • Drain off the sago well and rest for 1/2 hrs.
  • Now heat ghee in a pan put cumin and saute till they turn aromatic than add green chilli slit and potatoes cubes.
  • Saute for 2- 3 min.
  • Now add drained sago along with roasted and crushed peanuts, sugar and salt.
  • Mix well and make sure not to mash the sago.
  • Cover and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until sago gets cooked well.
  • Finally add coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix well amd switch off the flame.
  • Serve Saboodana khichadi for breakfast.
