Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 1/2 cup quinoa uncooked

  • 1 cup greek yogurt

  • 1 cup Water (to cook quinoa)

  • 2 Banana sliced (small size)

  • 6-7 Fresh strawberry

  • 1/2 cup green grapes

  • 1 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 1 tbsp sliced almonds

  • 1 tsp flax seed powder

  • 1 tsp Honey (optional)

    Steps for preparing quinoa:-

    Take a fine mash colander add quinoa and wash 3-4 times or until water turns clear.

    Drain well and keep washed quinoa aside.

  • 04

    In a pan add 1 cup of water and boil on high heat.

  • 05

    When water starts boiling lower the flame,add washed quinoa.

  • 06

    Boil water along with quinoa on medium heat.

  • 07

    When it starts boiling lower the flame,cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.

    After 15 minutes turn of the gas,cover the pan for few more minutes.

    With the help of fork gently transfer the cooked quinoa into plate.

    Spread cooked quinoa on the plate this will stop the cooking process.

    Let quinoa cool down completely before adding to bowl.

    Steps for preparing quinoa yogurt bowl:-

    Take a large bowl add 1/2 cup of greek yogurt,1/4 cup of cool quinoa,1sliced banana,7-8 green grapes,fresh strawberries 3-4no.(If you want to add honey add at this stage).

    Now garnished with 1/2tbsp of sunflower seeds,1/2tbsp of sliced almond and sprinkle 1/2 tsp of flax seed powder.(If you want you can stir all the ingredients choice is yours,I like this way)
