Wash and soak pulses for 10 minutes
Heat ghee in a pan
Add cumin seeds , turmeric powder and pepper powder
Add 1 glass water
Add soaked pulses and salt
Cover with a lid and cook on slow flame till its soft
Then transfer in a bowl and add finely chopped onion,tomatoes ,green chillies and ginger
Add lime juice and serve
When pulses are cooking prepare kheer
Dry roast vermicelli till pinkish
Add in boiling milk and cook on slow flame for 20 minutes
Keep stirring in between
Add sugar and chopped dryfruits
Srerve hot
